Description
web/handlers_repo.go renders the browse layer's error text into the overview page. Those strings carry dolt internals and on-disk paths, which nothing else on this surface discloses. Noticed while writing the MCP surface (dcdc979), which is careful never to let a store error reach a caller verbatim.
Acceptance criteria
The page shows a fixed sentence; the detail goes to the log with the repo id.

Close reason

Landed in 11c622f: the overview carries a bool, not an error string, so no browse text can reach the dot; the page says 'Could not read history.' and the detail goes to the log with the database id. The empty-database state (No commits./No branches.) was kept — it was never the error path.
